Our confession of faith:

The leadership of the Micah Forum adheres to orthodox Christian confession of faith that is rooted in history and affirmed by the Lausanne Covenant emerged from the 1st Lausanne Congress in 1974.

Our confession of sin:

O most merciful God, who pardons all who truly repent and turn to you: we humbly confess our sins. We have not loved you with a pure heart. Neither have we loved our neighbors as ourselves. We have not done justly, nor loved mercy, nor walked humbly with you, our God. Have mercy upon us, O Lord, according to your loving-kindness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out our iniquity. Create in us a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within us. Cast us not away from your presence and take not your Holy Spirit from us. Restore to us the joy of our salvation and uphold us with your Spirit. We ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Our prayer:

Almighty God, who has created us in your own image: Grant us grace to fearlessly contend against evil and to make no peace with oppression; and, that we may reverently use our freedom, help us to employ it in the maintenance of justice in our communities and among the nations, to the glory of your holy Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen. (BCP 209)
